Faith-Based Community Coordinator, West Tn

Kristen Wilson serves as the Regional Faith-Based Community Coordinator for the West Tennessee Grand Division, where she is working to bridge the gap between the recovery community and faith congregations or organizations. She serves as the point of contact in the faith community and is working to reduce stigma regarding mental health and substance abuse by providing educational presentations and trainings, facilitating communication and coordination of substance abuse treatment, recovery services, and mental health to those who would benefit. She is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, a certified QPR Trainer through the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network. She has a B.S. degree in Psychology and Christian Ministry from Union University and is currently seeking an M.S. Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Freed Hardeman University.
